Posted on March 26, 2009. Filed under: Powerpoint Tips |

Alot of powerpoints have music playing throughot the entire show. How do i do tht? And i want the same song.

To play background music across a whole PowerPoint presentation:

1. Open the presentation you wish to use the Background Music Loop upon, or create a new blank presentation in PowerPoint.
2. Select the slide you wish to insert the Background Music Loop.
3. Select “Slide Transition” from the Slide Show menu option. A Slide Transition pop-up window should appear.
4. Select the “Sound” pull down form in the lower right hand corner of the pop-up window.
5. Scroll down to the very bottom of the form until you see “Other Sound …”
6. Select “Other Sound”. The “Add Sound” pop-up window should now appear.
7. Navigate to the Background Music Loop that you wish to use on your hard drive and select the file.
8. The Slide Transition pop-up window should appear again, with the name of the Background Music Loop .WAV file in the sound form.
9. To loop the Background Music Loop, select the tick box, “Loop until next sound”.
10. Choose “Apply” (NOT apply to all) and you should return to the original page.

How do I make a powerpoint into a movie that will play ALL slides automatically?

Posted on March 26, 2009. Filed under: Powerpoint Tips |

I am having trouble making my presentation into a movie. It only plays the first slide.
How do I make it a movie and have it play ALL slides?

I’m not clear on if you want to save your PowerPoint out into some sort of movie format or just have it play as PowerPoint all the way through on its own.

If just how to play automatically in PowerPoint:

In PowerPoint XP/2003, right click anywhere on the slide and select Slide Transition. The Transition palette will open up. In it, you can set whatever transition you want going into that slide (if you haven’t already). Then at the bottom where it says Advance Slide, set it for Automatically After and put in how many seconds you want it to stay on screen for. You can click Apply to All Slides if you want the same setting for all slides, or go through and set each slide’s timing individually.

In PowerPoint 2007 – basically the same thing, different location. Go to the Animations tab. Choose your transition from the icons, and set the Advance Slide settings the way I described above.

That will now play it automatically. If you want it to loop continuously, go to the Slide Show pulldown menu –> Set Up Show (in XP/2003) or Slide Show tab, Set Up Slide Show button (in 2007) and click on Loop Continuously Until Esc (ape).

Or you can use

2. Click the video you want to add and then click OK.

What programs is the best to turn a powerpoint presentation into a dvd ?

Posted on March 26, 2009. Filed under: Uncategorized |

I have puchased DVDShow for powerpoint but the program does not work at all ! I have Sonic-MyDVDPlus ,it works fine but I cannot create the dvd to loop .Help please !

Some aspects you need to pay attention to:
1. You can not burn PowerPoint to DVD directly with out third party software, because PowerPoint is not MPEG-2 Video formats which you can burn to disc directly with common burning software like Easy Media Creator, Power2Go and so on. you need certain software to convert your PowerPoint to MPEG-2 or that software has the function of burning PowerPoint to DVD directly

2. Burn PowerPoint to DVD or disc. Commonly, there are two steps, first convert PowerPoint to a certain video format such as MPEG-2, then burn the video to disc.
And there are some software can do this at a time
Now, you need to find right software to burn your PowerPoint to DVD.
Here I recommend

How do I save a powerpoint to a flash drive with video?

Posted on March 26, 2009. Filed under: Powerpoint Tips |

I saved a project to my flash drive, but my powerpoint has videos. When I put it into a different computer, the videos won’t play. My teacher said I had to embed them, but I don’t know how to do that. Does anyone know?
first locate tvideos thant inserted in powerpoint and the powerpoint file in one folder, then reinsert the videos into powerpoint. after that, you can copy the folder to a flash drive for transfering to other computers.

alternativly, if you have inserted too many videos in powerpoint and would not like to do the reinsert job, then you should consider converting Powerpoint file to video: http://www.dvd-ppt-slideshow.com/ppt-to-…
